Store in a cool, dry place
Caution: Federal (USA) law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician.
Caution: This product is sold Non-Sterile. Sterilize prior to use.
Warning: Do not use in the presence of flammable materials. Fire could result.
Cleaning Instructions:
- Remove all gross matter (blood, tissue) by wiping the burr using a gauze pad, soft cloth dampened with warm tap water or soft bristled cleaning brush until no longer visible.
- Soak the burr in an enzymatic detergent mixture diluted according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Remove cleaning agents from burr by wiping with a cloth dampened in tap water.
- Dry burr thoroughly.
Sterilization Instructions:
Maximum number of uses when sterilized by Steam Autoclave is 25.
- Steam autoclave at 250°F to 254°F (121°C to 123°C) for 35 minutes using an autoclavable pouch or wrapped cloth method. Consult the AAMI recommended practice for steam sterilization using the wrapped cloth method. Allow the electrode to cool at least 30 minutes.
- Flash autoclaving is not recommended.
