Tap`n'Lok Locking Screws

Tired of screw hunting and taps that break? Tap`n'Lok Repair Screws are made of stainless steel and have specially designed threading that cuts new threads into damaged hinges and closing barrels. These screws also have our Tight Bond coating that locks the screw into place so it won't come out unless you take it out!

1. Choose the Head size and Diameter of the screw you need. If you're not sure of the diameter, 1.4mm is a good starting point.

2. Insert the screw providing moderate torque to cut new threads. If it is too difficult to insert, drop down one diameter in size.

3. Snap off the excess with a needle nose plier (we recommend #21/410) and re-torque for maximum bond.
